Our core values articulate
who we are and describe the unique style of ministry to which God has called
us. Our core values are the central beliefs that describe the heart and soul of
our ministry.
We value God's Word, believing that
anointed communication and relevant application of biblical truth are the
primary means God uses to change lives. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
We value contemporary worship, believing
that Christ-honoring worship celebrates God's presence, inspires people to a
more intimate walk with God, and prepares hearts for God to work and speak.
(John 4:23-24)
We value informality, believing that a
relaxed and comfortable atmosphere attracts people to Christ and His church and
encourages authentic Christian living. (1 Corinthians 2:1-5)
We value community, believing that healthy,
loving relationships develop and thrive best in the context of small groups.
(John 13:34-35)
We value changed lives, believing that
continual growth toward complete devotion to Christ and His cause is God's
expectation for every believer. (Matthew 28:19-20)
We value servant-hood, believing that every
follower of Jesus Christ should be equipped to discover and employ his or her
unique giftedness for use in service to others. (Ephesians 4:11-12)
We value personal evangelism, believing
that lost people matter to God and that we are called to bring the Good News of
salvation to the un-churched in our community and the un-reached in our world.
